Ben was a Latymerian who died too young and who was known for his kindness and his love of rugby. The appeal to fund the prize in Ben’s memory was launched at a tag rugby tournament in August 2021 in loving memory of Ben, with the support of Ben’s family and friends. We hope the “Ben Murray Prize for Kindness” will serve as a way to recognise, establish and honour Ben’s legacy at Latymer by rewarding remarkable acts of kindness from Latymer pupils at Prize Giving each year.
