The Latymer alumni community is supportive of each other in a number of different ways, both as part of the School’s careers outreach and more broadly through networking events and individual mentoring.
Careers office
Under the expert guidance of our Head of Careers, Chris Couch, alumni have access to all the facilities and resources of our expert team at School. If you need advice about a particular career choice, or want to be put in touch with other alumni who can direct your job applications, the Careers team is here to help.
Conversely, if you would be willing to run a workshop or give a talk about your line of work, our current students would be fascinated to hear about it. Please do contact the Careers Office if you are interested in an activity of this sort.
Networking events
An important element of our events programme are the industry networking events, in which we invite alumni from a particular field of industry to meet and chat to recent graduates and Sixth Form students looking to pursue that career path.
We also invite our alumni back to school take part in our annual Careers evening for current students, who are always keen to discover about as many different careers as they can. Please look out for an invitation to our next event in January.
Future events of this sort will be featured on our events page.
Alumni mentoring
Latymerians can be found in all walks of life, and many of them are happy to support younger alumni to succeed in their chosen field of work.
If you would like to take part in our mentoring programme, either as a mentor or if you would like support in your career, please contact the Alumni Relations team who can match you up with the appropriate people.
