KidsDoClassics is an incredible student initiative set up by sixth former Juliette, whose goal is to help bring Classics topics - their fun, and their fascination - to a wide range of maintained sector primary schools, who are considerably less able than independent schools to offer it themselves.

Juliette believes passionately in the benefits that Classics exposes students to, and in closing this gap in exposure with students from a young age. The founding principle of KidsDoClassics is that studying the Classics unlocks a new world to students: oration, story-telling, geography, art, history, drama and far more.

These topics are therefore offered for free, in their KidsDoClassics program.

Secondary school students volunteer to become Student-Teachers, and receive training in a specialised curriculum to prepare them for classroom sessions. They are then matched with a local primary school who has signed up, and deliver their sessions with the ongoing support of the KidsDoClassics team and other Student-Teachers.
