Spring Floral Masterclass

Celebrate the start of Spring by joining us with fellow parents, for what promises to be a relaxed and enjoyable masterclass with floral expert Becky Hands-Wicks.
Becky is back for more botanical fun – to share inside secrets, knowledge and techniques on how to make the most of your beautiful blooms at this time of year – all in the vibrant surroundings of Latymer’s Art Studio.
You will learn how to create a fabulous vase centrepiece for your table, from the finest seasonal flowers and foliage. Everyone will make their very own arrangement - which will include how to turn your arrangement into a hand-tied bouquet - making the perfect gift for friends and family!
There are 22 places available at each of these exclusive workshops - one in the morning (10am-12.30pm) and one during the afternoon (1.30-4pm) - so please book early to secure your place.
Tickets are £55 with all proceeds going to the Prep Bursary Fund.
Ticket price includes light refreshments, a vase and all the flowers and materials you need to create a beautiful floral display.
This course is suitable for all abilities from complete beginner to floral improver.
Delegates will need to bring a sharp pair of floristry scissors or secateurs, and although there is no dress code, you may wish to bring an apron, along with a comfortable pair of shoes.

Becky Hands-Wicks
Becky has been a professional florist for 9 years. Searching for a creative alternative to office work to run alongside her work as an actress, she found floristry and never looked back. She works as a small event florist (Fraser Street Flowers) doing everything from school prize days to weddings, and also for local florist Pot Pourri Flowers. She is delighted to have joined the Latymer community when her son started in Year 3 last year.
