A Literary Tour de France with Peter Winter Event

A Literary Tour de France with Peter Winter

22nd April 2021 from 7-8pm

Zoom: Evening Talk

In the final talk in his series on French Literature, Peter Winter shall take you on a guided tour of France.  He will explain and set in context diverse literary texts (poems or short prose extracts), linking them to the place which inspired them or to which they refer, and of course to their author and time.

We shall travel all over France and its Overseas Territories and end up in Paris. Peter hopes, literally, to give you a taste of France, its people, rivers, landscapes and cities, something too of its colonial past and.....its cheeses.
