Thank you to all of those who braved the howling wind and rain to join us at the 60th anniversary celebration of Latymer Boathouse – we were, at least, on dry-ish land!

Please enjoy the photos below which will give a taste of what was a very joyful and fun evening. It may have been damp and dark outside, but inside the boathouse was ablaze with club blazers and awash with rowers of all ages, including three Olympians, Jim Clark, Richard Phelps (1983) and, recently returned from Paris 2024, Henry Fieldman (2007)!

As mentioned in the speeches, the Boathouse exists thanks to the belief and determination of some Latymer parents from the 1960s. They knew the school would benefit from an enhanced rowing programme and fundraised until the Boathouse was completed. Rowing at Latymer continues to go from strength to strength and we want to ensure that it remains accessible to every student who is keen.
