We were thrilled to welcome members of the 1624 Legacy Society* for a beautiful afternoon tea reception on 11 May.
Hosts, David Goodhew, Head, and James Graham (1976), President of the 1624 Society, as well as guests were treated to an array of cakes, scones and sandwiches in the surrounds of the new Sixth Form Common Room, whilst hearing about the impact of the Legacy Society. They listened to an exceptionally emotive reading from School Captain, Yuv, on the history of the German exchange with The Johanneum School, Hamburg, in recognition of the 75th anniversary of the programme in Autumn 2023.
