Date: 15th September 2024 Time: 3:30pm - 4:30pm Location: St Michael's and All Angels Church
Join us at the Chiswick Book Festival to hear historian and Latymerian, Taylor Downing (Class of 1971) and Latymer parent, Christine Gregg speak about the production and stories behind ‘Latymer 400’ – a beautifully illustrated book marking 400 years of the Latymer Foundation which Edward Latymer established in 1624. This talk will be Chaired by Emmy and Golden Globe-winning drama and film producer, former Latymer Governor and Godolphin Alumna, Tracey Scoffield.
Latymer 400 is a collection of entertaining essays written by alumni and staff members, both past and present – you may well encounter the familiar names of former classmates and teachers throughout the book. Historians, journalists, authors, designers and photographers from our community have helped chronicle the ups and downs and the various challenges of the Latymer Foundation has faced in establishing and running our schools – and of course the colourful characters who have shaped our destiny along the way.
This insightful talk will appeal to anyone interested in local history, education, or with connections to Latymer. Don’t miss this opportunity to delve into this rich heritage of our community!
Tickets are £10 and can be purchased directly from the Chiswick Book Festival website, by following this link.
