Always a wonderful event, our legators are at the heart of Latymer’s community, their generosity very much following our own Founder’s pledge made 400 years ago.

This annual event is hosted by the President of the 1624 Society, James Graham (1976) and the Head, Su Wijeratna for those who have included a legacy to the Latymer Foundation in their will. The afternoon sees all ages of alumni, parents and staff present and former, come together and enjoy each other’s company over a delicious afternoon tea.

Please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements, require companion assistance, or like a car parking space for this event, by contacting events@latymerfoundation.org

Latymer at 400
In the meantime, don’t miss the opportunity to purchase, ‘Latymer at 400’ our incredible history book celebrating the Latymer Foundation’s 400th anniversary.  There is an option to include your name as a subscriber if ordered before December 2023!  Due for print March 2024.

This beautifully illustrated hardback is a lively history of the Latymer Foundation, its creation and evolution, alongside that of the village of Hammersmith. The book chronicles the many challenges the Foundation has faced in establishing and running the schools in the founder’s name, and the colourful characters who have shaped its destiny along the way. Latymerians, including leading historians, along with staff members past and present, have all contributed to writing and researching the book. The result is an engrossing, entertaining, and sometimes surprising, account based on meticulous research from primary sources in the School’s archive.
